A busy time of it…

Well it has been a little over a month since I posted and I have been busy.

Well to start Kate was born on 10-22-08. Katherine Beth Mullen. She has made my family bigger and my life more complete. She has also reminded me of how little sleep, food and sex that I can run on in a month. I am completely out of energy but when she makes a peep I am up to check on her and all of the other girls as well.

Now with Kate in the house I am out numbered in male to female ratio. 4 to 3. My male cats and I are trying to keep the faith but things

are starting to turn pink around here.

I will now bypass a nearly a month of crap and bring it to Saturday before XMAS.

My brother comes home and we decorate cookies. Family starts to fight early. A full like 4 days before Xmas a record for all of them.

So my brother and I do what we do best. Punch and kick the shit out of each other until we are yelled at by a higher force. Wifey and or Mom. We play games I fix the problem with his XBOX 360 and zing Tuesday before Xmas

Meghan has a show at school. Which she sang and everyone came. Normal families had the mom and dad plus any siblings. My whole  family shows up in laws included. Hey they love her so I never complain:

So now its Xmas eve and my family didn’t get in any visible fights. My aunt Elaine called like clock work when we are all together. I showed up late cause I fell asleep in the bath tub and bam dinner,  presents for the kids and more food. Desserts from everyone. Family was good that night.

Home after that to wrap all of the gifts I had for Kelly that day because since Kate we have no time. Setup Xmas and off for a wee 5hrs of sleep. Which Kate slept thru the night!!! Hasn’t since but hey take them when you can get them.

Christmas Day:

Gifts and such get totally decimated in 15 minutes. I get the games and movies I wanted save 1. (Iron Man forgot to tell anyone that oops!!!). Kelly gets all the things she wants and Meghan is too busy opening things to notice what she got.  Out the door and off to Momma Cyn’s for breakfast which was awesome. More gifts which filled the trunk. Left there and off to my parents who have flu and keep our distance while getting the gifts and giving them.  Then back home for a quick nap and off to Kelly’s Nana’s for dinner and more gifts. Home and completely exhausted. All in all a nice day. Long but nice.

I missed the opportunity to see some friends and family this year. I tried but hey I got a lot going on here. Sleep ranks above a shower these days.

That is pretty much bring us to now. New years is almost upon us and what a year it was. Well time for some sleep I guess what little I get anyway…..
